Creative Designer (Interior / Commercial / Exhibition)

About the Role: We are looking for a highly creative and self-driven Designer to replace a key team member who brought strong original thinking and design leadership. This role is not for basic execution - we need someone who can think, create, and lead visually.

You will work closely with our sales and project teams to develop impactful design concepts for flooring and interior applications, especially for B2B clients such as architects, interior designers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop original design concepts (not just adaptations or references)

Translate client briefs into creative, practical design solutions

Create mood boards, layouts, and presentations for client pitches

Support the sales team with high-quality visual proposals that help close deals

Work on branding, product presentations, and marketing materials

Stay updated with design trends, materials, and finishes

Take ownership of projects from concept to final execution

What We're Looking For:

Strong creative thinking ability (this is critical - not just software skills)

Ability to generate fresh, original ideas independently

Experience working with architects, ID firms, or construction-related projects is a plus

Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar)

Good understanding of materials, textures, and spatial design

Confidence to present and explain design ideas to clients

What Will NOT Work in This Role:

Someone who can only copy references or needs constant direction

Pure executors without design thinking

Lack of initiative or inability to handle new/original work
