Creative & Research Executive

Socium Consultancy is a corporate communication and business consultancy. Founded on the premise of bridging technology and communications, and academia and practice, Socium aims to provide businesses with the corporate communication service many would have thought was meant for the bigger firms. The concept of Corporate Communication-as-a-Service (CCaaS) was coined to provide bite-sized communication services for businesses hoping to build a brand reputation for themselves without having to hire an entire team.

The Opportunity

The job responsibilities of the Creative and Research Executive include:

• Handle day-to-day operations such as administrative duties and support client account managers
• Content generation (creative design and copywriting) for social media accounts
• Understudy or support in media relations roles
• Basic photography and video editing
• Research and writing for Socium and client accounts

Who We Are Looking For

To be eligible, the candidate should be a highly-motivated individual who is willing to learn and deliver results. The candidate should preferably be equipped with the following professional skills and qualifications:

• Undergraduate in Business Administration or Communication stream
• Interest in marketing and social media management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to converse in English and Chinese
• Intermediate photography skills, with own equipment (preferably)
• Proactive, energetic and result-oriented
• Conversant with photo and video editing (portfolio required, including school projects)
• Meticulous, independent and organised
