Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities:

. Operate cranes to lift and move materials, equipment, and other heavy loads

. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure that all work is performed safely and efficiently

. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes and related equipment

. Communicate regularly with supervisors and other team members to ensure that work is progressing as planned

. Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities

. Follow directions from supervisors and other experienced operators to perform tasks safely and efficiently

. Participate in training and development activities to improve skills and knowledge

. Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

. High school diploma or equivalent

. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes on construction sites or other job sites

. Good understanding of crane operation and safety procedures

. Valid crane operator certification and/or state license

. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

. Familiarity with rigging techniques and equipment

. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

. Strong organizational and time management skills

. Willingness to work in a variety of environments and conditions

. Good communication skills
