Our client is a growing petrochemical and energy trading company seeking a CPP Charterer to support their regional commercial activities.
This role offers broad exposure across chartering, shipping operations, and demurrage within a lean and fastmoving team.
Key Responsibilities of the CPP Charterer:
- Fix suitable vessels to support the company's physical trading flows.
- Manage vessel nominations, fixture processes, and endtoend voyage execution.
- Coordinate closely with brokers, owners, agents, terminals, and internal teams.
- Monitor freight markets and provide insights to the trading desk.
- Support charter party review and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate demurrage and laytime documentation.
- Maintain accurate voyage, operational, and chartering records.
Ideal Candidate:
- 24 years experience in chartering, commercial shipping operations, or shipbroking.
- Good understanding of vessel operations, freight markets, and charter party terms.
- Strong communication skills and able to work effectively in a lean commercial setup.
- Analytical, organised, and proactive with strong attention to detail.
