Description

An exciting opportunity based in Bangkok has emerged for a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader to shape and grow the Thailand business of a leading international player in the Flavors & Fragrance industry.

Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations in Thailand, including administration, commercial development, and overall business strategy. Working closely with regional leadership, you will drive business development across flavors, fragrances and active ingredients, while strengthening the company's market visibility and customer relationships in Thailand.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building from a blank page - developing a clear strategy to achieve the group's 2030 vision, enhancing collaboration with distributors, and leading a local team (sales & marketing, customer service, technical) towards sustainable growth. The role will also involve identifying future business opportunities, managing profitability, and potentially relocating the office to a more strategic location with improved facilities and a modern lab.

Requirements

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially savvy professional who understands the Thai market and has strong connections within the flavor, fragrance, food ingredient or even specialty chemicals sectors. We will be open to candidates who have proven track record of managing and growing businesses, ideally already having general management experience in a Country/General Manager capacity. You should be confident in setting direction, implementing structure, and fostering accountability with your team, partners and distributors.
