Job Scope:
. Provide face-to-face and group counselling for distressed servicemen, offering support in navigating personal and emotional difficulties.
. Provide consultation and advice to commanders/superiors of servicemen on best practices for managing the mental well-being of individuals within their teams.
. Collaborate with partners such as medical officers, psychiatrists and psychologists in enhancing mental health and well-being of our personnel.
. Perform Counselling hotline duty i.e. 2.24-hour shifts (8AM to 8AM) per month.
. Educate and impart knowledge and skills in mental healthcare to various echelons.
In addition to the above stated duties, you shall undertake such other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
. Postgraduate degree in counselling, social work or psychology with experience in mental health and substanceabuse counselling, in individual and group settings
. Good interpersonal skills
. Basic knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office software/applications
. Preferably a member of the Singapore Association of Social Workers, or Singapore Association for Counselling, or Singapore Psychological Society.
Contract Period: May 2026 to May 2027
Salary: up to $5040/month
Working Arrangement:
For non-hotline duty days:
Monday - Thursday: 8.00am - 5.30pm
Friday: 8.00am - 5.00pm
For hotline duty days:
8.00am on duty day to 8.00am the following day
