Client = Listed technology MNC, HQ for Asia in Singapore. You will be joining an established legal team to support the expansion and adoption of new products and services across a global technology platform.
Job Description
- Products/Regulation: Increasing demand is placed on the legal team to ensure all product related services are ahead of fast changing cross-border rules and requirements. This is both a technical and advisory role.
- As a key member of the products team, you will closely with both development and sales teams, with a view of supporting on regulatory advice for the APAC region.
- You will offer support to new business lines which focus on innovative technology as well as cross-border regulatory projects (given in a commercial and concise format)
- You will work closely with the MAS/SFC and regional governing bodies to ensure updates and changes to regulations are pro-active / implemented across the group.
Requirements
- 4 - 7 PQE
- Singapore / Common Law Qualified
- Lawyers will have training in Financial Regulation
- This is a perfect role for someone looking to move out of a law firm and into an in-house team, surrounded by colleagues who have made a similar leap in recent years
- Switched on, well educated and fast paced lawyers would be well suited to this firm
