Job Description

Brief Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Finance Professional, where you will leverage your expertise in manufacturing finance and business partnering to drive impactful cost management and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing reviews and analyses of material costs, overheads, and price variances, collaborating effectively with manufacturing personnel. Review work in progress (WIP) reports and oversee open projects to ensure timely closure. Lead inventory reviews and reserve evaluation analyses, ensuring timely completion of inventory cycle counts and reconciling any variances. Support percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue accounting and related financial analyses. Engage in periodic meetings with project managers to discuss project status and performance against forecasts. Drive continuous process improvements in inventory costing-related areas. Support the monthly and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and high-quality closures. Prepare, review, and approve costing and inventory-related journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and corporate reporting. Conduct gross margin analysis, providing detailed commentary on performance based on volume, price, mix, and direct costs. Act as a finance business partner to management, assisting in the management of manufacturing cycles to enhance on-time delivery (OTD) and profitability. Support the annual manufacturing budget planning and quarterly forecasting processes, including forecasting capacity and headcount requirements. Provide relevant operational and financial information for pricing decisions in commercial tenders and bids. Assist in internal and external audits and serve as a super user for system enhancements related to inventory costing. Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports to ensure excellence in manufacturing finance support. Participate in additional ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing finance and business partnering, preferably with a multinational corporation. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills. Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across various internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in ERP systems, with familiarity in Macola considered advantageous. Skilled in MS Office applications, particularly Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
