Cost Accountant (Budgeting/ Finance / Accounts/ Contract)

Our client aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable, and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Handle month-end closing activities, including Manufacturing Variance Analysis, inventory and capitalisation JVs
- Partner with departments to conduct costing analysis to support site performance improvement.
- Budget and Forecast Support - TDB calculation (AV, Yield and Substitution, Workshop and basket mix, potency, PPV, Capitalisation, Std to Std, Inventory Provision, Inventory forecast, BOM review, Production plan sanity check (Inventory shortage) and support slide deck
- Weekly Yield and Substitution reporting and resolving COGI error and any Issues arising from Process Orders, liaising with production and SAP IT. Weekly presentation of Finance Yield reporting.
- Manage monthly inventory provision (review block stock and coordinate meeting with all relevant departments)
- Yearly budget and standard cost set up process (Material std cost, SAP BOM, Atlas, MARCO, TP)
- Year-end activities (Std Cost release, Inventory revaluation)
- Assist in audit schedule and queries
- Added Value forecast.
- Monthly Atlas/MARCO check
- Sample Request CRI and inventory adjustment check
- Any other Ad-hoc as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a Degree in Accountancy
- Possess 5-8 years of relevant working experience in similar manufacturing companies, with the first few years in a public accounting firm
- Possess working knowledge of product costing and production analysis
- Be proficient in financial accounting and analysis
- Have working knowledge of FRS and IFRS
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and SAP
