Formulation Support: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and scale up cosmetic and skincare formulations, ensuring consistency and performance.
Process Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize chemical processes to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure that products are produced according to specifications, comply with regulatory standards, and maintain high-quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve process-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production schedules.
Sustainability Initiatives: Identify and implement sustainable practices in the manufacturing process, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and greener chemical alternatives.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., GMP, ISO).
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the quality assurance, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a chemical engineering role, preferably within the cosmetics, skincare, or personal care industry.
Skills:Strong understanding of chemical processes and formulation techniques in the cosmetic/skincare industry. Proficiency in process modeling, data analysis, and process optimization. Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards (GMP, FDA, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication and documentation skills.
Desirable: Experience with sustainability practices in manufacturing, knowledge of new trends and innovations in cosmetics/skincare formulations.
