We're looking for a Videographer & Video Editor who thrives in fast-paced, real-world production environments.
You'll be involved in event coverage, corporate video projects, interviews, talking heads, and short-form digital reels. Most shoots are on location, supported by a structured in-house team. You'll have access to shared professional equipment, editing suites, and studio facilities.
We continuously refine our workflows and integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency. We're seeking someone who is open to learning new technologies and staying current with evolving video formats and trends.
Firefly Photography is one of Singapore's most trusted media production companies. We've served over 10,000 clients including NTU, NUS, SMU, NTUC, SAFRA, and SP Group, and have been the official media partner for National Day Parade since 2014.
Our 1,250 sqft HQ houses a full cyclorama studio, editing stations, cinema-grade cameras, and secure delivery systems. We are a unionised company (SMMWU) and certified with the Progressive Wage Mark, committed to treating creatives with fairness, structure, and long-term support.
Cover live events, internal campaigns, product launches, and brand activations
Film interviews and talking head content with strong visual composition and clean audio
Produce short-form reels and branded content for digital platforms
Occasionally support photography if experienced (bonus, not required)
Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent software
Incorporate music, transitions, sound design, and text overlays where required
Perform basic colour correction and prepare polished final exports
Collaborate with in-house editors and producers for structured review cycles
Use Firefly's internal systems for storage, backup, and delivery
Maintain organised file management and consistent naming conventions
Keep project calendars and dashboards updated for team visibility
Utilise shared cameras, lighting equipment, editing tools, and studio space
Work collaboratively with editors, project leads, and clients on-site
1-3 years of experience or a strong, demonstrable portfolio
Confident in camera operation, lighting and audio setups, and on-site production
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects or DaVinci Resolve is a plus)
Comfortable with location-based work and flexible schedules
Strong communicator with solid time management skills
Professional when interacting with both clients and internal teams
Open to adopting new tools and adapting to evolving industry trends
Bonus: photography or motion graphics experience
5.5 to 6-day work week depending on project requirements
General studio hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Schedule may shift based on shoot timings, including early call times or late wrap-ups
Shoots may occur on evenings, weekends, or public holidays
No need to return to the studio after events unless handling equipment
Monthly salary: $2,600 - $3,200, depending on experience and hybrid capability
