This newly created role serves as a dedicated resource to manage a diverse corporate secretarial portfolio, working closely with senior governance leaders to oversee statutory compliance.

  • Supervise corporate secretarial workflows and ensure complete compliance with local and international statutory requirements.
  • Lead the organization of regular board and committee sessions, including drafting clear agendas and taking accurate meeting minutes.
  • Liaison extensively with executive directors and corporate stakeholders to facilitate efficient board operations and calendar management.
  • Oversee mandatory corporate filings and manage localized updates with relevant corporate authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain accurate statutory registers and implement group-wide entity management systems as the primary data source.

skills and experience required.

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on corporate secretarial experience, specifically gained within financial services or a similarly regulated sector.
  • Deep operational knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act and relevant local regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Recognized professional qualification under the local regulatory authority or equivalent professional corporate secretarial accreditation is highly preferred.
  • Outstanding minute-taking capabilities and the maturity to communicate complex regulatory issues confidently to executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated independence and ability to effectively prioritize workflows within a fast-paced environment.
