We are seeking a driven and client-focused professional to join our Banking Services team as a Corporate Deposit Acquisition Relationship Manager. This role is responsible for expanding the Bank's corporate deposit portfolio by acquiring new-to-bank relationships, strengthening existing client engagement, and driving digital adoption across corporate accounts.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Bank's funding strategy through sustainable deposit growth and strong relationship management.
1. Corporate Deposit Acquisition
Identify and onboard new corporate clients to grow the Bank's deposit base, with focus, on CASA and fixed deposit products
Actively participate in networking events, industry associations, and business engagements to generate leads
Conduct client meetings and offsite, visits to build relationships and facilitate account openings
Promote the Bank's digital banking platform (SFL iBiz) to enhance customer convenience and engagement
2. Relationship Management
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate customers
Provide responsive service and tailored solutions to ensure client satisfaction and retention
3. Portfolio & Target Management
Achieve individual and team deposit growth targets aligned with funding objectives
Monitor portfolio performance and ensure optimal deposit mix and profitability
Adhere strictly to internal policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory guidelines
4. Corporate Account Onboarding
Manage end-to-end account opening processes, including documentation review and KYC compliance
Conduct customer verification visits where required
Ensure smooth setup of digital banking access and provide onboarding guidance to clients
5. Digital Banking & Engagement
Drive adoption and active usage of the Bank's internet banking platform among corporate customers
Educate clients on digital capabilities, security protocols, and transaction features
Collaborate with Digital Banking and IT teams to resolve onboarding or system-related matters
6. Cross-Department Collaboration
Work closely with Customer Centres to structure deposit solutions
Support marketing initiatives and product campaigns targeting corporate clients
7. Reporting & Market Insights
Prepare regular performance reports and pipeline updates
Provide market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer feedback, to support business strategy
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
Experience
At least 5 years of relevant banking experience in corporate deposit acquisition, funding, or relationship management
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of banking products, particularly deposit instruments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
Strong integrity with sound understanding of compliance and risk controls
