Corporate Legal Specialist (Temporary Contract for 7 - 8 Months)

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Legal Specialist (Corporate Legal) on a temporary basis. The role will support corporate legal, and governance matters across Southeast Asia and work closely with business stakeholders, external counsel, and corporate secretarial service providers.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

• Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:
• Manage corporate governance matters for legal entities across Southeast Asia.
• Support board and shareholder resolutions, corporate approvals, and governance documentation.
• Maintain oversight of corporate records and entity compliance matters.
• Support corporate restructuring, share transfers, capital restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and business integration projects.
• Support internal compliance initiatives and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with corporate secretarial providers and external counsel on statutory filings and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Other assignments related to corporate governance & legal entity management

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in law.
• Approximately 3-6 years of legal experience gained in a law firm and/or multinational company.
• Experience in corporate law, corporate governance, legal entity management, or corporate transactions.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
