Job Title: Corporate Lawyer (Associate)
Remuneration: Up to $6500 SGD per month

Job Summary
- Our client operates a respected Singapore-based legal practice that is looking to expand its Corporate & Commercial team with the addition of a 2-3 years PQE Legal Associate.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional who is looking to gain meaningful exposure to complex, high-value transactions across a broad spectrum of corporate and finance matters.
- The successful candidate will work closely with experienced practitioners advising a diverse client base that includes financial institutions, investment firms, high-growth businesses and emerging companies.
- As part of a dynamic and collaborative legal team, you will play an active role in advising clients on corporate transactions, regulatory matters and commercial arrangements. The role offers strong hands-on exposure, client interaction and the opportunity to work on sophisticated cross-border and domestic matters within a fast-paced practice environment.
Job Scope
- Advise clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters
- Support transactional work involving mergers & acquisitions, investments, corporate restructuring and financing transactions
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and transaction documents
- Conduct legal due diligence and assist in transaction execution from inception to completion
- Provide legal and regulatory advice to clients operating in industries such as banking, fintech, investment management and emerging technology
- Liaise directly with clients, counterparties, regulators and external counsel where required
- Assist with corporate governance, compliance and risk management matters
- Work closely with senior lawyers and partners on strategic advisory mandates
- Manage multiple matters concurrently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and responsiveness
Job Requirements
- This role is restricted to Singaporean or Singapore PR candidates only, due to quota limitations.
- Ideal candidates should have passed the Singapore Bar with 2-3 years PQE – relevant exposure in M&A, capital markets, funds, financing or corporate advisory work will be advantageous.
- Exceptional candidates with less than 2 years PQE can still be considered, subject to interview performance.
- Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with clients from Greater China.
- Strong drafting and analytical capabilities with sound commercial judgment
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders across varying levels
- Meticulous, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
- Familiarity with Singapore corporate and regulatory frameworks preferred
