We are recruiting for a pharmaceutical MNC company for this exciting position which will offer operational growth opportunities to ensure that the Company's compliance and corporate governance programmes and initiatives are implemented across the Company's businesses
KEY REPOSNSIBILITIES:
- Manage regional corporate secretarial functions and ensure all statutory filings meet international legal standards.
- Coordinate high-level board and shareholder meetings, including the preparation of agendas and resolutions.
- Oversee the development and continuous improvement of regional policies and SOPs to strengthen internal controls.
- Act as a key compliance officer to foster an ethical corporate culture and monitor adherence to industry regulations.
- Lead compliance committees and track the resolution of key risk issues across the organization.
- Provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice to senior management on legal and regulatory risks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and transactional documents.
- Deliver hands-on legal support for corporate matters, ensuring solutions are operationally viable.
- Maintain accurate legal databases and manage relationships with external counsel and auditors.
- Serve as the designated DPO and lead the information management framework.
- Design and implement data protection programs, including regular staff training and incident reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant degree qualifications
- At least 5-8 year of experience in compliance/ governance role within the pharmaceutical/ biomedical industry
- Proven track record in hands on operational compliance responsibilities.
