Job Description
The Corporate Finance incumbent will play a pivotal role in supporting Finance function in structuring, and executing private equity opportunities. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support deal evaluation, structuring, and execution across private equity opportunities.
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
- Evaluate and structure capital market instruments such as convertible bonds, preference shares, warrants, and hybrid instruments.
- Perform due diligence, including reviewing financial statements, management accounts, and operational data.
- Prepare investment memoranda, board presentations, and transaction documentation.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies on financial and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.
- Provide accounting and financial reporting oversight, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity.
- Strong understanding of M&A processes, deal structuring, and capital markets.
- Strong accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in financial reporting and modelling, audit, or transaction support.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex information clearly.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
