Manager, Investment / Corporate Finance (Corporate HQ)

Our client is a well-funded, high-potential stealth startup with ambitious growth and expansion plans driven out of its headquarters in Singapore. To support this exciting phase of strategic development, the company is creating a new position for a Manager, Investment / Corporate Finance.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, commercially-minded professional to work directly with the founderan experienced entrepreneur with a successful track record in the startup space. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership and a hands-on approach, playing a critical role in shaping and executing the company's strategic agenda through M&A, investments, partnerships, joint ventures, and broader corporate finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of M&A, investment, and partnership opportunities, including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning
  • Build robust financial models, investment cases, and scenario analyses to support strategic and capital allocation decisions
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to support market research, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence
  • Prepare high-impact presentations and materials for internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external investors
  • Manage cross-functional due diligence efforts involving legal, tax, finance, operations, and business teams
  • Track industry trends, competitor movements, and macroeconomic developments to identify strategic opportunities
  • Support funding and capital structure planning in collaboration with internal finance and treasury teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investment banks, advisors, potential partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Work closely with business units to identify, assess, and drive both organic and inorganic growth initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, valuations, private equity, management consulting, or in-house corporate development roles
  • Demonstrated track record of executing M&A transactions and managing cross-functional deal processes
  • Strong experience in business and industry research, strategic analysis, and investment case development, including both primary and secondary research techniques
  • Hands-on involvement in end-to-end M&A processes, including target identification, financial modeling, transaction structuring, negotiation, due diligence, and post-merger integration planning
  • Proficiency in developing business cases, conducting legal and financial due diligence, and engaging in strategic negotiations and documentation
  • Highly adaptable, proactive, and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving environment
