As part of its next phase of growth, the company is seeking a commercially astute Corporate Development Manager to support M&A activities and strategic business initiatives across regional and global markets.
Job Description
- Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute corporate development strategies to support business growth.
- Perform financial analysis and due diligence on potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acquired businesses effectively.
- Prepare and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage relationships with external advisors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Drive post-merger integration programmes, ensuring operational alignment and synergy realisation
- Monitor acquisition performance and support strategic planning activities
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- At least 8 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategy, or M&A-related functions
- Proven experience leading or supporting mergers and acquisitions transactions
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and commercial analysis capabilities
- Demonstrated experience managing post-merger integration initiatives
- Agile mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing business priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple functions
