Position: Corporate Development Associate

Location: Singapore

Reports to: SVP, Operations & Corporate Development

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Development Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Tamarind Healths growth strategy through M&A execution, joint ventures and partnerships, and internal strategy initiatives. This role is well-suited to candidates with 23 years of experience in investment banking, transaction services, or strategy consulting, who are eager to transition into the healthcare sector and contribute to building a leading regional platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Corporate Projects:

  • Support senior management on strategic initiatives such as market entry, partnerships, joint ventures, and new service lines.
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to support decision-making.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and the Board.

M&A Execution:

  • Support the end-to-end transaction process including target screening, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and preparation of investment materials.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external advisors (banks, consultants, lawyers) to drive deal execution.

Experience:

  • 23 years of relevant experience in investment banking, transaction services, or strategy consulting.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proven experience in valuation and transaction analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil complex issues into clear recommendations.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in or knowledge of the healthcare services sector is a plus, but not required.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including building three-statement models, LBO models, and sensitivity/scenario analyses.
  • Strong command of Excel for data analysis, financial forecasting, and valuation.
  • High-level expertise in PowerPoint, with the ability to craft compelling and professional presentations for senior executives and board members.
