Overview
We are looking for a creative and motivated Corporate Communications Intern to support both design and social media initiatives, helping to bring NUH's vision, mission and stories to life across internal and external platforms.
Role 1: Design (Communications Intern – Design)
Key Responsibilities
- Create visuals for digital and print platforms (e.g. posters, newsletters, social media assets, brochures, templates, signage, corporate gifts)
- Develop illustrations and typography aligned with corporate identity guidelines
- Edit and enhance images and graphics where required
- Provide design‑based recommendations to effectively communicate key messages
Requirements
- Strong understanding of design principles with good attention to detail
- Good written English and ability to communicate ideas creatively
- Able to manage multiple design projects concurrently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and design tools (e.g. Adobe, Canva)
- Basic motion graphics or video editing skills are a plus
- Willing to use personal laptop with relevant design software
Role 2: Social Media (Communications Intern – Social Media)
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of social media strategies to build brand awareness
- Monitor trends and propose timely, relevant content ideas
- Storyboard, film, edit and produce engaging social media content
- Create visuals, videos and captions for social media platforms
- Plan and manage content schedules and social media calendars
- Assist with photo/video shoots and collaborate with stakeholders
- Track content performance and prepare basic analytics and insights
Requirements
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
- Creative, adaptable and able to work under tight timelines
- Comfortable managing multiple projects with high attention to detail
- A team player who works well in fast‑paced environments
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, videography or photography is a plus
- This internship offers hands‑on exposure to healthcare corporate communications, with opportunities to work on real campaigns and content under the guidance of experienced professionals.
