Summary
The intern will support the Corporate Affairs team in delivering communications activities and contribute to content development, research, event coordination, and stakeholder communication efforts that strengthen internal engagement and enhance corporate reputation across the organization.
Job Description
Content Development & Storytelling:
- Assist in drafting and designing internal communications materials for HP and AH (newsletters, intranet posts & articles, campaign content, leadership messages).
- Support development of visual assets such as simple graphics, slides, and templates for business updates or internal campaigns.
- Help document impactful business or patient/owner stories aligned to both HP and AH priorities.
Research & Insights:
- Conduct background research on therapeutic areas, market trends, competitor activities, and industry topics relevant to both HP and AH.
- Support media and social listening activities, summarizing key developments for the team.
- Assist with preparing communication insights, summaries, or briefing documents for internal stakeholders.
Project & Event Support:
- Support planning, logistics and coordination for internal events, townhalls, cross-BU engagement activities, and key campaigns.
- Help manage timelines, action trackers, content calendars, and shared documentation across HP and AH projects.
- Liaise with internal teams, agencies, or vendors on deliverables where needed.
Internal Stakeholder Engagement:
- Assist in gathering inputs from cross-functional colleagues across HP and AH to support the creation of integrated communications materials.
- Support coordination of content approvals and distribution across internal channels.
Operational & Administrative Support:
- Maintain updated team folders, SharePoint sites, and project files.
- Assist with coordination tasks when needed.

- Gain practical experience supporting communications activities across Human Pharma and Animal Health
- Develop foundational skills in content creation, research, stakeholder coordination, and project management
- Learn to create internal communication materials and support events and campaigns
- Conduct structured industry research and contribute to communication outputs

- Build understanding of the healthcare and animal health sectors
- Strengthen professional skills such as business writing, time management, and workplace communication
- Gain meaningful industry exposure and clarity on career pathways in corporate communications
Pre-requisite
- Ability to commit for a minimum of 3 months and above. Part-time applicants must be able to work for a minimum of 3 weekdays per week. International students not intending to take this as a credit-bearing module/internship need not apply as you will not be able to meet the required time commitment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for drafting content, preparing presentations, and organizing data.
- Familiarity with simple design or visual-editing tools (e.g. Canva, PowerPoint design features, or similar platforms) is preferred.
- No prior communications experience required.
- Willingness and ability to learn new software and digital tools.
- Comfortable adapting to digital workflows.
- Able to apply guidance to produce clear, well-structured communication materials.
