Corporate Actions Executive (47 Years Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Actions Executive to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will have 47 years of relevant experience in corporate actions processing, with strong product knowledge in equities and fixed income instruments. This role requires accuracy, analytical ability, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and validate corporate action events across equities and fixed income securities (mandatory & voluntary events).
- Interpret corporate action announcements and ensure accurate capture in internal systems.
- Perform entitlements calculation and reconciliation.
- Monitor event lifecycle from announcement to completion, ensuring timely client communication.
- Liaise with custodians, brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct impact analysis for income events, redemptions, restructurings, and other complex actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation when required.
Required Experience & Skills
- 47 years of hands-on experience in Corporate Actions within banking, asset management, or brokerage environments.
- Strong product knowledge in:
- Equities (dividends, rights issues, bonus issues, splits, mergers, tender offers, etc.)
- Fixed Income (coupon payments, redemptions, partial calls, conversions, etc.)
- Solid understanding of global market practices and event processing lifecycle.
- Experience working with custodians and market data vendors.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with corporate actions platforms or custody systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
