Job Summary
Perform basic accounting, payroll administration, and corporate secretarial support tasks using accounting software and compliance procedures while working collaboratively in a team environment and learning new skills.
Responsibilities
- Use accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks to record and track financial transactions accurately
- Create and monitor task lists to ensure timely completion of accounting and administrative duties
- Check payroll data for accuracy and calculate payroll amounts using payroll software to support timely employee payments (training provided)
- Review and file company compliance documents to maintain regulatory adherence
- Support company incorporation processes by preparing and organizing required documents
- Manage physical and cloud storage filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of company records
- Collect and handle company correspondence and letters efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks and acquire new skills in accounting and corporate secretarial functions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting, payroll, or corporate secretarial roles is welcome but not required
