Core Infrastructure Lead - Financial Services

We&aposre hiring a Core Infrastructure Lead for a reputable bank with strong regional presence. This is a team leadership role overseeing the core infrastructure operations - spanning servers, networks, cloud, data centres, and end-user computing. The role also covers incident and change management, vendor engagement, procurement, and governance. You&aposll play a critical part in ensuring the bank&aposs infrastructure is secure, resilient, and future-ready, while staying aligned to regulatory requirements such as MAS TRM.

Responsibilities:

You&aposll lead infrastructure teams responsible for core platforms and services, manage key technology vendors, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable operations across the bank. You&aposll drive cloud and data centre strategy, oversee incident response and IT support functions, and lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) sessions. The role requires a strong understanding of operational best practices, infrastructure automation, and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who can balance strategic oversight with technical depth.

Requirements:

We&aposre looking for someone with at least 8 years of experience managing IT infrastructure in an enterprise environment, ideally in financial services. Strong knowledge across server, network, cloud (AWS/Azure), and end-user computing is expected. You should bring experience with ITIL processes, vendor and procurement management, and familiarity with MAS TRM and cyber hygiene practices. Leadership and communication skills are key, as is the ability to work across both technology and business teams. Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, ITIL, AWS) are a plus.
