COPYWRITER
A call for the concept-first, the wordsmiths, the storytellers.

At BLKJ Havas, we're looking for a Copywriter who's ready to crack briefs open, shape ideas into stories, and make work that people actually care about.
You'll be a voice behind the ideas - turning strategy into compelling narratives and briefs into bold creative. Working closely with art directors, strategists, and project teams, you'll help craft campaigns that are smart, culturally relevant, and creatively sharp. You'll write, rewrite, and push the work to be better - and in the process, sharpen your own craft.
Job Responsibilities:
. Bring Big Ideas to Life: Contribute to the development and execution of creative concepts grounded in insight, strategy, and culture.
. Write Across Platforms: Craft copy for campaign platforms, scripts, social content, digital experiences, OOH, and more - with clarity, craft, and personality.
. Build Brand Voice: Help shape and maintain a strong, consistent tone of voice across all touchpoints for the brands you work on.
. Collaborate Closely: Work hand-in-hand with art directors, strategists, and the wider creative team to ensure ideas meet both creative and client objectives.
. Present with Confidence: Share your work clearly and confidently with internal teams and, when required, clients.
. Refine the Work: Take feedback constructively and push ideas further in pursuit of stronger creative output.
. Stay Culture-Curious: Keep a close pulse on trends, conversations, and what's happening in culture - bringing fresh references and thinking into the work.
. Grow Your Craft: Learn from senior creatives while continually developing your writing skills and creative point of view.
. Contribute to Creative Culture: Be an active, positive presence in a collaborative, curious, and ambitious creative environment.
Requirements:
. 3-5 years of copywriting experience within a creative or advertising agency.
. A strong portfolio demonstrating concept-driven thinking and solid craft in writing.
. Experience working across integrated campaigns (digital, social, video, OOH, etc.).
. A sharp eye for language - from headlines and long-form copy to scripts and social captions.
. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an openness to feedback and iteration.
. Ability to manage multiple briefs and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
. A proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively with different disciplines.
. Good understanding of Singapore and regional audiences, with sensitivity to what resonates locally and across Asia.
. Bonus points for awards, recognitions, or work that shows your ideas stand out and travel - even better if they've made people talk.
