Preparation, cooking and processing of Halal-certified food products in accordance with approved recipes, quality standards and production requirements.
Ensure accurate measuring, mixing and handling of ingredients in strict compliance with Halal requirements.
Operate and monitor kitchen and food processing equipment safely, efficiently and in accordance with operating procedures.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and Shariah compliance across all kitchen operations.
Ensure full compliance with Halal, HACCP, ISO and GMP food safety standards, including proper documentation where required.
Guide and support junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality output.
Coordinate with production teams to plan and meet daily production targets, quality standards and delivery timelines.
Manage inventory control, including stock checks, proper storage and timely replenishment of ingredients.
Work Hours:
Full-time: Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM - 5:00PM
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience as a cook, preferably in a Halal kitchen or food production environment.
Good knowledge of Halal food handling, hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
Familiar with HACCP and GMP standards (training or certification is an advantage).
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
