Assist in food preparation (E.g., julienne cutting, chopping, slicing, washing, portioning and marinating, etc.)
Prepare dishes according to the recipes and SOPs
Plate and present dishes with exquisite precision
Work with the kitchen team to ensure food consistency and quality
Ensure all the kitchen equipment is in good working condition and report any faults or damage according to SOPs
Ensure that strict hygiene and cleanliness standards are constantly and consistently upheld and adhered to in the restaurant, as well as excellent upkeep of personal grooming
Responsible for the compliance of all health, safety, and food hygiene legislation
Any other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
Basic knowledge in Asian cooking techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly learn new recipes and new cooking procedures
Attention to detail with time management skills
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
