Job Summary
As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will support legal professionals by preparing legal documents, managing conveyancing processes, and maintaining effective communication with clients and related parties to ensure smooth real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full range of conveyancing matters including purchase and sale transactions, development projects, mortgages, transfers, refinancing, redemption, and leases
- Prepare and proofread legal conveyancing documents accurately to support transaction completion
- Manage e-lodgment and e-stamping processes to ensure timely submission and compliance
- Communicate clearly and promptly with clients, banks, and other parties to provide updates, answer queries, and resolve concerns throughout the conveyancing process
- Conduct searches, assist with billing, and maintain deadlines to support legal team efficiency
- Schedule and manage client appointments and maintain organized records of files
- Liaise with Banks, CPF Board, Solicitors, and Clients to coordinate conveyancing matters effectively
- Demonstrate professionalism and uphold ethical standards in all interactions
- Manage multiple files independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining a collaborative team approach
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a conveyancing secretary in a law firm
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with HDB conveyancing matters
