Experience such as wills, probate and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), simple contract drafting or other non-contentious matters is a strong advantage, and the role may include general solicitor duties across practice areas. This is a varied role suited to a versatile lawyer who enjoys client work, thrives in a collaborative environment, and delivers high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and advise on a full spectrum of conveyancing matters, including residential and commercial property transactions (sales, purchases, leases, mortgages, refinancing, post-completion tasks).

  • Draft, review and finalise legal documentation for property transactions, including sale & purchase agreements, transfer instruments, mortgage/CPF charge documents, and related filings and lodgements.

  • Conduct title and legal searches, due diligence, and advise on legal and regulatory requirements to ensure smooth transaction progression.

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on wills, probate and LPA matters, and assist with documentation or administration in these areas where needed (good-to-have).

  • Maintain and organise matter files, track deadlines (e.g., completion dates), ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Liaise professionally with clients, financial institutions, government bodies and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient matter progression.

  • Manage client communications and meetings, ensuring timely updates and excellent service quality.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve internal processes, support business development, and stay informed on legal developments and market trends.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer admitted to the Singapore Bar with 1-3 years post-qualification experience, with substantive conveyancing experience in a Singapore law firm.

  • Prior exposure to wills, probate and LPA or non-contentious work is a strong advantage.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong drafting, negotiation and client-service skills, able to manage a varied workload and multitask to bring a matter from start to finish while meeting deadlines in a busy environment.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients is desirable.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Due to quota constraints, this position is intended for Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
