Controls & Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support subsidiary and sub-region leadership in embedding compliance into the rhythm of business.
• Ensure adherence to policies with strong governance processes and regular monitoring.
• Act as the point of contact for all compliance questions in the subsidiary and sub-region.
• Provide compliance support, consulting services, and monitoring to mitigate risks.
• Train and support Business & Finance Compliance Champions on tone setting, investigations, and dashboard monitoring.
• Support and facilitate subsidiary and sub-region Compliance Committee meetings with leadership, Legal, and HR.
• Identify and address geo-specific risks not covered in the global compliance framework.
• Collaborate with EY (quarterly controls testing) and ensure timely remediation of issues.
• Review root causes and remediation of control assessment observations for APAC subsidiaries.
• Maintain a feedback loop with third-party auditors and consultants to improve risk mitigation.
• Conduct data analytics to identify high-risk areas and generate actionable compliance insights.
• Create content and organize compliance trainings, trust days, and awareness events.
• Coordinate and manage internal audits end-to-end and track remediation implementation.
• Prepare decks, manage action items, and support ASEAN and country compliance committees.
• Contribute as a team member to develop subject matter expertise in key risk areas.

Requirements:

• 45 years of experience in Internal Audit, Compliance, or Risk Assessment (preferably in a technology environment; commercial industry also acceptable).
• Exclusions: Candidates from financial services (KYC, AML, NBFC) will not be considered.
• Strong analytical and data skills, with proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, Power BI).
• Strong presentation skills, including creating and delivering PowerPoint content for meetings and trainings.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with leadership, legal, HR, and compliance teams.
