Purpose
Lead local reinvoicing hub controlling function and provide support for regional controlling and reporting activities with a strong business‑controlling focus. The role goes beyond financial reporting to actively support decision‑making through deep understanding of business drivers, performance developments, and value creation across the region.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Reinvoicing entity andregional head office
- Lead controlling, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the Singapore reinvoicing hub, ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance with corporate guidelines and IFRS standard.
- Coordinate and oversee the reinvoicing process in close collaboration with Global Business Services (GBS) and local accounting teams, ensuring timely execution and proper reconciliation.
- Act as regional owner for transfer pricing topics, provide subject‑matter support on regional and global transfer pricing initiatives.
- Support regional head office cost planning and cost control, including monitoring, variance analysis, and proactive identification of risks and opportunities.
Regional
- Support regional month end closing process ensuring continuity, quality, and adherence to closing timelines.
- Support and facilitate regional forecasting, budgeting, and mid‑term planning processes, working closely with business and finance stakeholders.
- Represent the region in ad‑hoc projects initiated by Corporate, contributing financial expertise and regional insights.
- Prepare and present financial analyses, reports, and presentations for the regional management team, translating financial results into actionable business insights.
- Business partner with cluster heads (Senior Controller level), providing financial challenge, guidance, and decision support to drive performance and strategic outcomes.
Qualification and Experience
- University graduate
- Qualified accountant or equivalent
- Minimum 5-8 years hands-on experience in auditing and management accounting, preferably in multi-national companies
- Deep knowledge in Accounting and Finance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Able to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities collaborates effectively within teams and engages confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese good in Mandarin hands on experience in MS Office withSAP experience preferred
