1 Job Purpose
The incumbent would be assisting the Supervisor in the Control Room in operations and any matters related to patients meals.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
- Generate patients meal chits and meal summary report from eMOS for kitchen preparation
- Inspect meals prepared by the kitchen team to ensure food quality, therapeutic specifications and hygiene standards
- Handle enquiries or feedback and provide follow-ups
- Assist in coordination with dietetics, speech therapists, and nursing on meal requirements
- Liaise with kitchen team to prepare special therapeutic diets
- Perform inpatient meal sensory evaluation and other quality improvement projects
- Follow all instructions given by Supervisor.
2.2 Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
2.2.1 Participate in improvement initiatives and projects assigned by the Supervisor
2.2.3 Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Job Specification/Requirements
- Minimum GCE &aposN&apos Level / &aposO&apos Level / Nitec with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or Fresh Diploma graduate.
- Experience: 2-3 years of related experience at a supervisory level, preferably in a hospital, upscale hotel, restaurant, or high-volume food service facility.
- Basic Food Hygiene certification required.
- Language Skills: Ability to write, speak, and read English proficiently. Fluency in a second language is advantageous.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to understand and read diet chits and eMOS system
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills.
