Draft, review, and negotiate procurement, supply, and service contracts for international projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and corporate policies.
Support tender/bidding activities, including contract review during pre-award phases and identification of contractual risks.
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve contractual and commercial issues.
Advise project teams on contract interpretation, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms), import/export regulations, and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
Monitor contract performance, including deliverables, timelines, and quality, ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
Prepare and maintain contractual documentation, amendments, and change orders.
Support dispute resolution processes as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 10-15 years experience in procurement for offshore oil & gas projects
Solid understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms) and cross-border contract management.
Familiarity with taxation implications of cross-border contracts and payments.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and contract interpretation skills.
Strong commercial awareness and risk assessment ability.
Experience with EPC contractors, offshore engineering companies, or oilfield service providers
Experience with FPSO, LNG, or offshore platform projects is a MUST
Direct exposure to Middle East project contracts is a MUST
Experience in Middle East EPC projects, especially with companies like Aramco, QatarEnergy, NOC, or ADNOC highly preferred
Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese to liaise with Stakeholders and Vendors
Ability to travel internationally, including extended stays (1-2 months) in Singapore or project locations
Comfortable working in multicultural, multi-jurisdictional project teams
