Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage full tender process from preparation to award.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage all contract documents to protect company interests.
  • Manage costs, variations, claims and final accounts.
  • Prepare and issue contractual and official correspondence.
  • Oversee the Contracts Department, including progress claims, payment certification and payment follow ups.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, contract revenue, cash flow and financial performance.
  • Ensure all projects comply with contract conditions, company procedures and legal requirements.
  • Manage contract risks, disputes and assist in negotiation and resolution when required.
  • Lead and support the Sales Department for outsourcing projects.
  • Guide the Sales team in identifying and approaching potential clients, preparing proposals and closing deals.
  • Work closely with project teams to support contract and commercial matters during project execution.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for Directors on the performance, issues and risks of the Sales and Contracts Departments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong background in Quantity Surveying and contract administration.
  • Well-versed in Standard Forms of Contract (PSSCOC, SIA, REDAS).
  • Good knowledge of contract law, SOP Act, claims and dispute resolution.
  • Proven experience in LTA Projects, Infrastructure Works, HDB Projects, CE Works and Road Works.
  • Able to lead teams, work independently, and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
