Our client is one of Singapore's leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in government and private sector projects. In view of recent expansion plan, they are looking for a Contracts Manager to take charge of tender matters for large-scale building projects.
Job Description:
- Lead the tendering process from inception to completion, ensuring the submission of high-quality and competitive proposals.
- Develop and implement tender strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to outline bid strategies and win themes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical content accuracy and relevance.
- Manage the creation of compelling written and visual content.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with tender submissions.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Work closely with the finance team to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and financial guidelines.
- Participate in debrief sessions to gather feedback from clients.
- Analyze tender outcomes and share insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management or relevant field
- Possesses at least 10 - 15 years of A1 contractor QS experience (project value $100m)
- Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
- Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team.
