Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the preparation, negotiation, administration, and management of contracts for construction
    projects.
  • Oversees Contract award, negotiates commercial terms and conditions for new contracts and change orders.
  • Oversees and guide the team on Quantity take-off, estimation, cost planning, subcontracting, Variation
    Orders and negotiation of final accounts with clients.
  • Reviews progress of all on-going projects and ensures compliance with contract terms, manages risks, and supports project teams in resolving contractual issues.
  • Responsible and lead the team on monthly progress claims, evaluates and prepare Subcontractors claims.
  • Responsible and lead the team in preparation of delay notifications, extension of time claims and/or acceleration claims.
  • Undertaking duties and/or responsibilities as and when appropriately assigned by the Head of the Department.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or any relevant discipline.
  • At least 8-year experience in Contracts Administration with minimum 5 years Managerial experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in preparation, negotiation, and finalization of Contractual Claims.
  • Comprehensive contracts administration and dispute resolution knowledge and skills
  • Good understanding of Construction Contract Law.
  • Risk Management.

Working Hours:

  • 5.5-day work week, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:25pm, Sat (Alternate Saturday Off) 8am-1200noon.
