Oversees the preparation, negotiation, administration, and management of contracts for construction projects.
Oversees Contract award, negotiates commercial terms and conditions for new contracts and change orders.
Oversees and guide the team on Quantity take-off, estimation, cost planning, subcontracting, Variation Orders and negotiation of final accounts with clients.
Reviews progress of all on-going projects and ensures compliance with contract terms, manages risks, and supports project teams in resolving contractual issues.
Responsible and lead the team on monthly progress claims, evaluates and prepare Subcontractors claims.
Responsible and lead the team in preparation of delay notifications, extension of time claims and/or acceleration claims.
Undertaking duties and/or responsibilities as and when appropriately assigned by the Head of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or any relevant discipline.
At least 8-year experience in Contracts Administration with minimum 5 years Managerial experience.
Extensive knowledge and experience in preparation, negotiation, and finalization of Contractual Claims.
Comprehensive contracts administration and dispute resolution knowledge and skills
Good understanding of Construction Contract Law.
Risk Management.
Working Hours:
5.5-day work week, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:25pm, Sat (Alternate Saturday Off) 8am-1200noon.
