Position Overview

The Contract Manager and Contracts & Risk Coordinator Lead is responsible for preparing, negotiating and recording all aspects of Contracts including Main Contract and Subcontracts. During the execution phase, he acts as a focal point to Owner's Contract Manager and participates at the discussion for instance, interpreting scope of work, contractual obligation, change order, indemnity, insurance requirements, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Contracts terms and conditions and identify potential project risks.
  • Drafting subcontract terms and conditions and lead negotiation on terms and conditions.
  • Leading Contracts amendment process.
  • Check project specific requirements, such as local contents and taxes and present solution.
  • Review of Change Proposal and lead discussion.
  • Check conditions of project close-out and participate on the discussion.
  • Monitoring whether subcontractors comply with contractual obligation and issue non-compliance notice timely.
  • Act as the primary focal point for day-to-day multidisciplinary coordination with discipline engineers, vendors, yard and subcontractors.
  • Maintain transparent communication with multiple disciplines, yard, subcontractors and site teams
  • Deliver clear data-driven reports on project status, risks, and performance to the Project Manager.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Make a letter and review a letter from others

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Contracts-related majors are preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Experience working in EPC/EPCI project environments.
  • Strong ability to facilitate collaboration across multiple disciplines, yard, subcontractors and site teams to ensure alignment and clear information flow.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
