Responsibilities
- Oversees the preparation, negotiation, administration, and management of contracts for construction projects.
- Oversees Contract award, negotiate commercial terms and conditions for new contracts and change orders.
- Oversees and guide the team on Quantity take-off, estimation, cost planning, subcontracting, Variation Orders and negotiation of final accounts with clients.
- Reviews progress of all on-going projects and ensures compliance with contract terms, manages risks, and supports project teams in resolving contractual issues.
- Responsible and lead the team on monthly progress claims, evaluates and prepare Subcontractors claims.
- Responsible and lead the team in preparation of delay notifications, extension of time claims and/or acceleration claims.
- Undertaking duties and/or responsibilities as and when appropriately assigned by the Head of the Department.
Requirement
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or any relevant discipline.
- At least 8-year experience in Contracts Administration with minimum 5 years Managerial experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in preparation, negotiation, and finalization of Contractual Claims.
- Comprehensive contracts administration and dispute resolution knowledge and skills.
- Good understanding of Construction Contract Law.
- Risk Management.
