Contracts & Claims Manager

Location: Singapore (Project Site)

Industry: Engineering / Infrastructure

NES Fircroft is supporting an engineering and infrastructure organization involved in a major environmental and industrial project in Singapore. We are currently looking for an experienced Contracts & Claims Manager to support project delivery and commercial management.

This role will focus on managing contractual matters, preparing claims documentation, and supporting dispute resolution across complex engineering works.

Key Responsibilities

Support the management of contractual and claims-related matters across a large infrastructure project.

Prepare and issue contractual correspondence, including notices related to variation orders, extension of time (EOT), and loss & expense claims.

Coordinate with internal project teams to gather supporting documentation and evidence required for claim submissions.

Maintain and update project claims registers and contract records, ensuring accurate tracking of claims raised by the project team and project partners.

Work closely with external consultants such as claims specialists, delay analysts, and legal advisors when required.

Ensure contractual notices and submissions are issued within the timelines stipulated in the contract.

Participate in project meetings with internal teams, consultants, and project partners to address contractual and commercial matters.

Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

At least 3 years of experience in contracts administration or claims management within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.

Familiarity with construction contracts and claims procedures.

Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary project teams.

Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative project environment.

Willingness to be based at a project site in Singapore.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with main contractors delivering design-and-build or EPC projects in Singapore.

Familiarity with local construction contract frameworks and payment legislation.

Exposure to claims defence, adjudication, mediation, or arbitration processes is advantageous.

Experience handling variation claims, extension of time claims, and subcontractor claims.
