Job Description
We are seeking a Contracts Administrator (Electrical) to support contract administration functions for ongoing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction projects.
You will be responsible for managing contractual correspondence, supporting variation and claims documentation, and ensuring proper administration of contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and issue contractual letters and formal correspondence to clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of Variation Orders (VOs) and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions
- Review contract documents, specifications and technical drawings for compliance
- Track contractual obligations, deadlines and submission timelines
- Liaise with project teams, engineers and stakeholders on contract-related matters
- Maintain proper records of all contractual documents and correspondence
- Follow up on outstanding contractual issues and responses
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction or M&E industry
- Basic knowledge of contract administration, VO and EOT processes
- Able to interpret technical drawings and contract documents
- Good written communication skills with ability to draft formal letters
- Candidates with experience in handling contractual correspondence, VO and EOT documentation in construction projects will be preferred
- Exposure to M&E projects will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented, organised and able to work in a fast-paced project environment
