The impact you'll make
Monitors and analyzes company cash positions to cover cash commitments. Compiles short-term and long-term cash forecasts and coordinates the movement of any excess cash to and from investment accounts. Coordinates company activities relating to banking. Evaluates bank services and fees, monitors bank performance and recommends appropriate action. Monitors portfolio investments and produces management reports detailing performance. Directs and reviews financial statement analysis of new and existing customers. Assists in other treasury projects as directed.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and manage daily cash positions, including preparation and execution of wire transfers in accordance with established controls and authorization requirements through the maintainenace of wire templates within bank portals and Kyriba TMS and updating and maintaining onshore and offshore cash flow models
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Bank of America Malaysia, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage overseas monthly funding activities and quarterly intercompany settlement processes
- Coordinate clearing and settlement activities with cash application/general accounting team
- Prepare and reconcile quarterly intercompany loan balances
- Prepare quarterly SOX documentation and supporting workpapers in accordance with internal control requirements
- Maintain regional banking infrastructure through assisting with opening and closing bank accounts, managing authorized signatories and administering user entitlements across corporate and regional banking portals
- Ensure Kyriba TMS reflects current bank account details and signer information
- Coordinate foreign exchange post-trade activities including confirmation and aettlement of FX trades and preparation of monthly FX-related journal entries
- Provide support for IFRS reporting and related information requests
- Coach and cross train the new Malaysia Treasury Analyst, with a specific focus on Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulatory compliance, including reporting requirements, purpose code governance, documentation standards, and regulatory interactions, to ensure continuity of compliance and treasury operations
- Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics or related field with a minimum 2 - 4 years of corporate treasury or public accounting experience
- Ability to learn quickly & adapt to fast paced environment
- Ability to multi-task & manage competing deadlines/ priorities
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and customer service skills
- Proficiency in SAP
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel & Powerpoint is required

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
