Contract Pharmacy Technician | Healthcare | Pharmacy Operations
We are hiring Contract Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy operations within healthcare settings. This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in developing their experience in medication handling, pharmacy operations and patient service.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, pack and dispense medications under the supervision of pharmacists
- Perform medication labelling, stock management and inventory checks
- Assist with prescription processing and ensure accurate medication preparation
- Handle pharmacy administrative duties and maintain accurate records
- Support pharmacists in day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Provide assistance to patients and attend to general pharmacy-related enquiries
Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy Technician studies or a related discipline
- Prior experience in a hospital, retail or community pharmacy is an advantage
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling medications
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn pharmacy management systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team and follow established pharmacy procedures
Working Hours
- Mon-Fri / 5.5 day work week
- Office hours / rostered shifts
