We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead contract administration and commercial management across our construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that all contractual, financial, and legal elements are effectively managed, while promoting cost efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and amendments.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms.
- Handle contractual and commercial disputes related to projects.
- Administer VO/ Addition/Omission/ Back-charges & Collection.
- Manage a team of QS on producing project claims, indemnity warranty, other contractual budget accounting, tracking and management reporting.
- Assist in the tendering process to ensure costing are accurately included.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Construction / Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of working experience as QS/ Contracts administration in similar capacity within the construction industry. Out of which, minimum 5 years with the Main-Contractor would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and have good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Meticulous and analytical and possess excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
