To manage construction contracts from tender award to project completion, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled while protecting the company's interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and administer construction contracts and subcontracts.
- Prepare, monitor, and maintain contract documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and regulations.
- Manage contract variations, claims, and extensions of time.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual matters.
- Monitor project progress and identify contractual risks.
- Assist in contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Support project teams with contractual advice.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare contract reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in contract administration or the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and contract law.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office experience with construction software is an advantage.
