The Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist will leverage from the available data available from KN WMS and customer WMS to improve our operational capabilities to deliver the workload for our staff.
- Map the different process steps within the system and provide an overview of the visibility available through existing data sources and tools.
- Develop a set of standardized reports for Swiftlog operations to promote best practices and streamline report implementation.
- Support planners and analysts by helping them understand how to visualize and access the information they need to plan and trigger tasks effectively.
- Create reports using the most appropriate tools based on operational needs, including Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or OPER.
- Assist operations in automating tasks using Macros or other emerging technologies to enhance design principles, administrative workflows, and operational processes.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends, and assess their potential impact on reporting practices and process efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to operational teams on how to leverage reports and technologies to improve administrative and operational performance.
- Upskill team members by training them to use reporting and analytics tools effectively and safely.
Job Requirements
- Minimum a Bachelors Degree in IT or Supply Chain or Computer Science
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a large logistics environment
- Proven specialist knowledge and hands-on experience with logistics information systems
- Experience with server-based computing is a plus
- Affinity with logistics processes
- Communicative skills, both oral and written
- Able to analyze problems clearly and quickly come to a practical solution
- Knowledge of SQL
- Advanced Excel (Macros and Power Query)
