You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your knowledge and perspective to the delivery of Customer & Operational Excellence.
Your Responsibilities
As a Contract Logistics Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting warehouse operations and contributing to various projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Compile, analyze, and interpret logistics data to provide actionable insights.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, such as implementing lean practices.
- Support the implementation of warehouse layout improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support the testing and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other logistics software.
- Support various administrative tasks and processes related to customer accounts.
- Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on orders.
- Conducting market research to identify industry trends and key influences.
Your Skills And Experiences
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).
- Basic knowledge of supply chain management concepts and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A commitment to a 6-month internship is required.
