Contract fund operations /fund accounting professional (12 months) with a renowned PE Firm

• Min 3 years of fund operations or fund accounting experience will be required
• Able to commit to a 12 months assignment
• Prior asset mgt/ PE industry experience is required

Our client is an established and blue-chip PE/investment firm. It is based in town. It invests in private equity funds, with a focus on the development and innovation of new investment platforms and products to make private equity (PE) accessible to a broader group of investors.

It is now looking for a contract accountant who can join the accounting team to assist in its year end closing closing (including FS, XBRL). You will also assist in some BAU finance matters (e.g. checking invoices, monitor cash balances)and some fund accounting matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA Equivalent.
• Min 3 years of fund operations or fund accounting experience will be required
• Able to commit to a 12 months assignment
• Prior asset mgt/ PE industry experience is required

• Organized with good communication skills
• Meticulous and able to work independently with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Keen learner with positive attitude, motivated, flexibility to work in a small office environment
• Oracle experience a nice-to-have but not a must
• Open to performing a 12 months contract role
