The Life and Health Operations (LHO) department plays a pivotal role in ensuring that we provide our customers with affordable and comprehensive life and health products.
Within LHO, the Life Policy Servicing handles policy servicing transactions for all life insurance, which includes ensuring good quality of processing, ensuring targeted service turnaround time is met, complying to risk control mechanisms service experience to our customers.
As part of the Life Insurance Policy Servicing team, your key responsibilities include the following:
- Verify policy liability, compute and determine the policy value payable for various transactions such as policy loan, cash benefits, deposit withdrawal and policy reinstatement based on policy cover and management guidelines
- Recommend payment of policy benefits and approve those within assigned authority limit
- Ensure that the policy servicing activities are processed within the target time set by providing guidance, support and training of staff under job holder's supervision
- Producing and verifying regular reports with high level of accuracy
- Handle incoming enquiries and servicing issues
- Gather and review user requirements for identified system enhancements in relation to process review
- Perform end-to-end system testing, including resolution of system defects/bugs
- Work closely with other departments and internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of service
- Participate in ad-hoc duties and project(s) as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Obtained a Diploma or Degree in any field
- Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in insurance policy servicing preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Meticulous and analytical
- Self-motivating, possess strong interpersonal and strong teamwork
- Able to work independently and in a team, willing to take on extra duties when necessary
