Job Description
- Oversee and manage all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies
- Support external and internal audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Manage financial reporting systems, including data entry and report generation
- Establish and maintain robust processes for intercompany reconciliations and account analysis
- Ensure accurate application of percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including sub-consolidated statements
- Support financial analysis and reporting for management review
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including ad hoc financial analysis
- Provide recommendations to enhance financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Support implementation and optimisation of financial systems and tools
- Handle local tax matters and compliance requirements
- Support banking activities, including letters of credit (LC) and bond-related matters
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Open to applicants coming out of Big 4 looking for commercial exposure
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Solid understanding of project accounting (including POC accounting)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with global stakeholders
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong ownership and accountability
- Experience in project management or system implementation is an advantage
